The Peak Light 38 S is your companion for demanding alpine tours. It is extremely light, technical and even more functional thanks to the climate-controlling Swisswool Tec Knit back system. The Swisswool-Tec-Knit Back System uses heat-pressed swiss wool covered with a 3D high-tech knitted fabric. The wool pads are used in the zones that come into contact with the back, storing large volumes of moisture without feeling wet. With a packing volume of 38 litres, this backpack provides sufficient space for multi-day ski tours – without compromising on comfort. Peak Light 38 S is very robust, yet incredibly light thanks to the use of particularly tear and abrasion resistant Nylon 420D Oxford material. This nylon fabric is one of the lightest materials that we use for our backpacks. The material is also water-resistant thanks to its PU coating. The new triangular construction of the lid allows for variable adjustment with rope fastening without slippage. The lid is completely removable and can be stored in the main compartment. When stored in the main compartment, the lid’s zipper can still be easily opened. The lid compartment has two sections. Taped seams make the lid completely waterproof. The Peak Light 38 S comes with lots of integrated, additional important featuresa. Rope and ice axe fixation, load control cords, helmet net, material loops, hip pocket, a map compartment and a circumferential zipper for quick, front access to the main compartment. Safety equipment is held securely inside by means of a safety attachment. In addition, standard Ortovox backpack features include an emergency card, chest strap with signal whistle, compression strap, bright interior colour, hydration system compatibility and a ski holder.
